The Eldon Hotel makes the following facilities available to our Anglers:
Drying room
Freezing catch
Secure lock-up for equipment
The fishing season commences 15th February to the 30th of September.
You must have a state license and a permit to cover rivers and lakes.
Choose from 13 Trout Fisheries Lakes in the general area. Lakes are specially selected for accessibility, size and angling
facilities. 50,000 adult Trout released into the fisheries each season to supplement native Brown Trout. Always a good supply of
lively, strong, free rising Brown or Rainbow Trout. Suitable for both specialist and casual anglers.
We also have a deep sea charter boat available for full (€300) and half (€180) days.
The "Mary-O" can take up to 8 anglers. Rods included.
A 3 hour mid week special will be available. Adults €25, Children €20, subject to availability.
Shore anglers can be taken fishing for Sea Bass with rods provided, etc. at €20 per day.
Good quality tackle & equipment available for rent at €25 per day.
Our agent has acquired the fishing rights at
Lisselan Estate, on the Argideen River,
one of Irelands premiere Sea Trout rivers.
This costs €30 per Day/Night and rod & tackle is available at €15. Gillie available at €12 per hour.

Ilen River, Skibbereen, County Cork Ireland.
Ilen Anglers Club welcome visitors.
Fishing waters extend 4.5 miles upstream from Skibbereen on both banks.
