The famous general and statesman Michael Collins leaving the Eldon Hotel where he had his last meal and made his last public speech, shortly before his assassination at Beal na mBlath in August 1922.
Collins was a regular guest at the Eldon Hotel, spending many a night talking and singing into the early hours before retiring.
